In addition to personal training, we offer functional strength and conditioning classes. These classes do not run continually unless there is a core audience. Classes are not part of Anytime membership but can be purchased separately.
This is a 30 minute class performed on a stability ball. We will start with a short warm-up and then spend the remainder of the class doing resistance and body weight exercises. This is a moderately intense class which can be performed by beginners.
High-Velocity Fusion:
This is a one hour class that combines kickboxing, resistance work on the stability ball and a cool down stretch and relaxation period to send you home relaxed and recharged. It is also a moderately intense program.
Stretch Class:
You
have worked your body hard with your trainer. Not it is time to be
nice. Imagine a warm, quiet room, soft music, candles and soft
stretches borrowed from yoga, martial arts and sports sciences to
soften your body. There is a relaxation, mindful, breathing and oneness
promoted in this class. We start from the top of your head and reach
your toes.
The result is in increase in flexibility, less muscle
soreness, a softer more relaxed mind and peace. This
is a 30 minute class.
Warrior Conditioning:
This is a pure physical conditioning class. It is open to a wide audience
because the instructor is a personal trainer and has programmed the
concept of progression into the class. Just like all people are at
different levels of fitness, we all need exercise that is challenging
yet achieveable. This class will appeal to a wide audience of people at
various fitness levels. There is a place for you. As you progress you
can advance up the “line” to more challenging exercise. It is based on
when you are ready to take it on. The exercises for a beginner will be
slightly easier than for more advanced. The goal is to build super-fast, athletic people through the application of martial arts training.
Warrior Skills
:
This is a class that uses martial arts training. It is unlike other schools where there is a requirement to be physical. This has nothing to do with a tough guy or brutal approach to
striking. There are many levels of contact so you do not have to get hit. You can learn how to handle yourself while you get exercise. It is a class to learn how to fight on your feet under
control. The focus is to teach the how and why. Make a style that works
for you. As you a advance, you will develop phenomenal athleticism.
MyTriumph - Wellness Class:
The goal of this class
is to promote a long-term approach to managing health and weight
issues. More importantly it is about being happy and free from our own negative chains and self-perceptions. It is not necessarily what to eat or what not to eat. It is
about developing a vision for yourself, learning about your strengths,
leverage what you do already, identifying challenges building solutions
and support systems. We look at the areas of our lives and consider
ways to move forward in a better way. You work on your body with
physical training; now work on your mind and spirit.
Then we
introduce and work on concepts such as mindfulness, joy, positivity,
SMART goal setting and many other techniques that put you deeper in
touch with yourself. It is not therapy because we do not look back. We
look ahead. We develop techniques for increasing confidence surrounding
reaching goals. The ultimate aim is to develop a confidence that allows
us to get past obstacles and reach for our best self! This is a one
hour class and meets once per week. A recording will be posted on the
Personal Triumph Fitness site on Facebook if you are a client and
missed the session.
Phone & Web Based Wellness Support Group
This is a phone and web-based support program FREE for training clients or non-clients who are enrolled. Since this class is over the phone, it is anonymous so there are no barriers to speak your mind. We will choose a weekly time and record the session and post it for people who may have missed the session.
We will start with providing participants an opportunity to speak about their experience over the previous week. We will let other members support the members. The coach will try to let the interaction at this phase be a direct member to member support unless the advice needs to be tweaked for compliance to standards.
We will then delve into a topic for the week and practice it with the goal of implementing it appropriately into your week. These topics are intended to help your efforts in areas of strategy, confidence, positivity, hope, vision, motivation and more.
A phone and computer with Internet access are required for participation in this class. We will be using a web-based meeting program.
Butts and Guts:
This is a 30 minute class geared to tighten and tone our core. This is all floor based will leave you sore. Although the title is focused on butts and guts, it is focused on all the muscles of the core region. It is moderate to high intensity and challenging.
